These Terms and Conditions govern your use of pelagictribe.co.in and its sub-domains (together, “the websites”), operated by Pelagic Outdoor Equipment & Services Pvt. Ltd. (“Pelagic Tribe”, “we”, “us”). By using the websites you agree to these terms.

1. The websites

This corporate website provides information about Pelagic Tribe and links to our online shop and partner portals:

• shop.pelagictribe.com: our online store for customers.
• spares.pelagictribe.co.in: Shimano spare parts ordering for authorised partners.
• service.pelagictribe.co.in: booking servicing and repairs for reels and rods.
• partners.pelagictribe.co.in (Shoal): wholesale ordering for stockists, dealers and retailers.

Each portal may display additional terms that apply to its use. Where they conflict with these terms, the portal’s terms apply to that portal.

2. Accounts and authorised access

Partner portals require sign-in with a Google account that Pelagic Tribe has authorised. You are responsible for activity under your account and must not share access, use another person’s account, or try to bypass sign-in or access controls. We may suspend or remove access at any time, including where these terms are breached or a trading relationship ends.

3. Products, pricing and orders

Product descriptions, specifications and images are provided in good faith but may contain errors or change without notice. Prices are in Indian Rupees and, unless stated otherwise, exclude GST, which is charged at the applicable rate. Trade and partner prices depend on exchange rates, freight and duty, and are confirmed only on our invoice. An order is accepted only when we confirm it; we may decline or cancel an order, for example where stock is unavailable or a price was shown in error, and will refund any payment received for a cancelled order.

4. Payment and delivery

Payment terms are as shown at checkout or on our invoice. Delivery times are estimates. Risk in goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide. Please inspect goods on arrival and report damage or shortages to us within 48 hours of delivery.

5. Service and warranty

Pelagic Tribe is a designated Shimano Tackle Warranty & Service Centre. Warranty repairs are carried out according to the applicable warranty terms, Shimano’s for Shimano products and Pelagic Tribe’s for our in-house products, and proof of purchase may be required. Damage from misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, unauthorised modification or normal wear is not covered and will be quoted as a paid repair. Service estimates are approximate; we will contact you before carrying out chargeable work beyond the estimate. Items not collected, or for which return shipping is not arranged, within 90 days of our notice that they are ready may be disposed of after a further written reminder.

6. Returns

Returns and refunds for consumer purchases are handled as described on shop.pelagictribe.com. Trade returns require our prior written approval.

7. Intellectual property

Content on the websites, including text, graphics, logos and our in-house brand names, belongs to Pelagic Tribe or its licensors. Third-party brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the websites, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with their operation, extracting data in bulk, or uploading harmful content.

9. Limitation of liability

The websites are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Pelagic Tribe is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the websites, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Indian law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
